This Privacy Policy explains how QuoteVora ("QuoteVora," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects information when you visit quotevora.com (the "Site") or use our browser-based tools. QuoteVora is an independent, self-operated project. By using the Site, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
We collect information in the following ways:
Information you provide directly. If you contact us through the contact form, we collect your name, email address, and message content. If you purchase a digital product, payment and order information is collected and processed by our payment provider, Payhip — QuoteVora does not receive or store your full payment card details.
Estimator data. Our free browser-based estimator tools calculate results locally in your browser. Any values you enter into the calculator (such as project area, materials, or labor cost) are not transmitted to or stored on QuoteVora's servers unless explicitly stated on that tool's page.
Automatically collected information. Like most websites, our hosting provider (Cloudflare) may automatically log standard technical information such as IP address, browser type, device type, and pages visited, for the purpose of security, performance, and abuse prevention.
Analytics. We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the Site, including which pages are viewed, how long visitors stay, and which links are clicked. Google Analytics uses cookies and similar technologies to collect this information, which may be processed by Google in accordance with the Google Privacy Policy. This data is aggregated and used to improve the Site and its content; it is not used to personally identify you. You can opt out of Google Analytics tracking by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
We do not currently use Facebook Pixel or similar advertising trackers.
Cookies. The Site may use strictly necessary cookies required for core functionality (for example, keeping an administrator logged in on internal management pages). We do not use cookies for advertising or cross-site tracking.
We use the information we collect to: respond to inquiries and support requests; process and fulfill digital product purchases through our payment provider; maintain, secure, and improve the Site and its tools; and comply with legal obligations.
We do not sell or rent personal information. We may share information with:
Service providers who help us operate the Site, currently limited to Cloudflare (hosting and infrastructure) and Payhip (payment processing for digital products). These providers process information under their own privacy policies and only to the extent necessary to provide their service.
Legal requirements. We may disclose information if required to do so by law, or in good faith belief that such action is necessary to comply with a legal obligation or protect the rights, property, or safety of QuoteVora, our users, or others.
Contact form messages are retained only as long as needed to respond to and resolve the inquiry. Purchase records are retained by our payment processor, Payhip, in accordance with their own retention policies.
Depending on your location, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold about you. To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the details below.
The Site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date.
